Make sure the handbrake wıll hold the vehicle on an indine, but don’t apply il on the move. Land Rovers have transmission brakes, in the form of a drum brake on the rear prop shaft, and must be used only at a standstill.
Check beneath ihe vehicle for oil leaks from the axle differentials and main and transfer gearboxes.
